Vocational Training Program – Basic Computer Course

SSB Vocational Training Computer Training Program

Bhargavi Samarth Welfare Trust has been awarded the work order to conduct a Basic Computer Course (Non-Residential) vocational training program for a duration of 21 days, sponsored by the 31st Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Gossaigaon.

This program is being successfully operated by the Bhargavi Operation Team and is conducted within the SSB Campus at Gossaigaon. The initiative aims to enhance digital literacy, improve employability, and empower participants with essential computer skills required in today’s workforce.

Through structured training, hands-on practice, and professional guidance, the program reflects our commitment to nation-building and skill development in collaboration with government forces.

Vocational Training – Transforming Skills into Livelihood

Vocational Training

Vocational training is the foundation of real-world job readiness. At Bhargavi Samarth Welfare Trust, we empower youth and women through targeted skill development programs that help them generate income and contribute to the economy.

From tailoring and beautician courses to computer literacy and electrical training, we’ve trained hundreds of individuals across rural and semi-urban areas. Our efforts ensure that marginalized communities get the skills and confidence they need to build a better future.

Why Vocational Training is Crucial & How We Can Deliver It

🛠️
Lack of Job-Oriented Skills
Most youth lack practical skills that can directly get them employed or self-employed.
📚
Skill-Based Curriculum
Provide hands-on training aligned with industry needs through short-term certification courses.
📉
Unemployment in Rural Areas
Villages and small towns lack employment avenues leading to migration and poverty.
🏫
Training at the Grassroots
Set up rural skill centres under PMKVY & NSDC to train right at the community level.
🙍‍♀️
Limited Women's Participation
Due to social barriers, many women can't access traditional education or training.
🧵
Tailoring, Beauty, and Crafts
Offer women-friendly vocational trades like stitching, beautician, jute crafts etc.
💡
Lack of Awareness
Many are unaware about government skill programs or how to access them.
📢
Awareness Drives & Camps
Conduct awareness camps, workshops and mobilization through panchayats & schools.
🔧
No Access to Tools
Trainees often drop out due to lack of equipment or proper lab infrastructure.
⚙️
Tools & Lab Support
Provide full lab kits and workshop infrastructure for each vocational trade.
